Sketches

(1986-1999)

Webster’s Dictionary defines a sketch as a quick, rough drawing that shows the main features of an object or scene.  As a photographer, I use a miniature (35mm) camera and exceptionally high-speed film (Kodak P3200) to capture these images during my travels, as the small camera and sensitive film make for a light and responsive load. The eccentric grain and sharpness of the resulting images make for different rendering of visual delights found on the road.
