Chasing the Light: Morning at Jasper Ridge

(2010-2014)

In 2010, I had the privilege of meeting Philippe Cohen, then the Executive Director of Stanford University's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve, a place I played as a child and one that is now on the forefront of climate change research. Through our mutual affiliation with Sempervirens Fund, Philippe invited me to visit the preserve for a hike, and that was the beginning of this collection of landscape images celebrating a place whose record of human history goes back well over two thousand years.
