The Djerassi Resident Artists Program
Independence Hall, Woodside California
I recently had the privilege of sharing my 30-year journey with the Djerassi Resident Artists Program at a First Friday event hosted by the Town of Woodside’s Art and Culture Committee. This extraordinary residency in my hometown of Woodside has been an incubator for creativity and a sanctuary where I found healing in a time of grief. It was the subject of my book 18 Days in June and a place where I collaborated with my wife Julie on a wind-kissed five-by-seven-foot cyanotype. This is a place where art originates.
