Buelteman at SLATE Art in Oakland

I am currently exhibiting at SLATE Art in Oakland, California, with cameraless pieces from 4 different portfolios. In partnership with Sempervirens Fund on whose advisory board I sat, we are also showing Ansel Adams' Portfolio Four: What Majestic Word. The Fund, California's first land trust, protects the redwood forests in the Santa Cruz Mountains along with the plants and animals that live there. This 250 unit limited edition portfolio of 15 silver gelatin prints was made in 1963 and dedicated to Ansel's close friend Russel Varian. His widow, Dorothy Varian, gifted this copy to Sempervirens Fund to support their work. The exhibition is open to the public through March 28th.
